ADRIAAN GEUZE & WEST 8
ARCHSTOYANIE 2007 SUMMER
A pavilion with no roof, marked off with walls made out of pinecones. Adriaan Geuze supervises over large-scale projects all around the world and has much experience in working with completely different geographical zones and territories. For the Kaluga region, he had chosen the simplest and ecologically flawless material — pinecones. This object required some 50 square meters of pinecones, some of which were especially delivered to Nikola-Lenivets, as the pinecones collected from the nearby forests were not enough.
